On December 5th, the second installment of the “Playing Together…” event series, aimed at students passionate about the GameDev industry, took place.
This initiative seeks to foster integration within the academic community and familiarize participants with the latest trends and gaming productions.
The meeting kicked off with a lecture by Mikołaj Nowak, a lecturer at Collegium Da Vinci and co-creator of the game Permafrost. This time, the expert focused on the importance of game testing, presenting various methods and tools used in the process. The lecture served as a starting point for a lively discussion, where attendees had the opportunity to exchange insights directly with an experienced professional.
One of the main highlights of the program was the chance to test the Permafrost game demo created by SpaceRocket Games. To enhance participants’ experience, a special feedback form was provided, allowing attendees to submit comments and suggestions for improvements. Over 40 participants, playing in both cooperative and solo modes, explored the game’s frosty world, sharing their impressions and ideas for further development.
The “Playing Together…” event once again proved to be a unique opportunity not only to learn about the game development process but also to build connections within the academic community. Discussions, the exchange of experiences, and the opportunity to collaborate on game testing created an unparalleled atmosphere.
We invite you to follow future editions, which are already generating great interest and contributing to the growth of GameDev-related passions!
