expandA graduate of Poznan University of Life Sciences: the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry. Specialization: information technology in engineering. In 2007 he defended his PhD thesis with honor on the topic “Neural identification of selected mechanical defects of kernels”.

expandScientific interests are focused on: artificial intelligence, artificial neural networks, image analysis, systems engineering and object-oriented programming.

expandAdditionally, he is a specialist in the field of personal data protection and protection of classified information. He has been connected with the university since 2003. He teaches Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Algorithms and Data Structures and Information Technology.

expandIn his free time, he pursues two passions: photography and hiking in the mountains.

expandA graduate of the faculty of Economics at Poznan university of Economics and Business. He studied in the fields of “Economic policy and business strategies” at his home university and „Economie et Gestion des Entreprises” na Université de Rennes I. The doctoral dissertation, written at the Department of Economic Policy and Development Planning in Poznan, concerned the strategies of domestic enterprises towards the expansion of transnational corporations.

expandScientific interests include the issues of foreign trade policy, international economic relations, the activities of transnational corporations and its impact on the global economy, as well as the impact of regional and local environment on corporate strategies. He carried out research in this field as part of the French Government research scholarship at the Université Aix-Marseille, as well as within the research projects of the Regional Research Center of the Poznan university of Economics and Business.

expandA graduate of the University of Technology in the field of Computer Science. She defended her doctoral thesis with distinction in the field of computer science applied in agricultural sciences. For many years she worked in IT departments as a server or network administrator, implementor and trainer. She conducts didactics primarily in the field of operational systems and spatial information systems. Research interests concentrate on the use of information technology and popularization of knowledge and common sense. Author of several dozen scientific and popular science articles on the use of information technology, primarily in agricultural engineering, and co-author of the monograph on meat cattle breeding. Head of the national project on the use of aero laps in monitoring grassland, contractor in European projects concerning the development of the data exchange standard (agriXchange) and applications of Internet solutions of the Future (FIware technology) in the creation of smart applications for the agri-food sector. A member of the Polish Society of Spatial Information, the Polish Society of the Application of Information Technologies in Agriculture, Food and Forest Economy and the Polish Society of Agricultural Engineering. Marked by the President of the Republic of Poland with the Bronze Medal for Long-Term Service. Initiator and producer of various social actions. Co-founder and co-editor of the cultural magazine ŌKŌ.

expandHe graduated from the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism at AMU. Specializations: political marketing and journalism. He is also a graduate of doctoral studies at the Faculty of Political Sciences at Adam Mickiewicz University. Author of a doctoral dissertation written under the supervision of prof. dr hab. Józef Orczyk, devoted to the problems of privatization in the Visegrad Group countries, with particular emphasis on the political and ideological aspects of this process.

expandScientific interests are focused on the problems of systemic transformation in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe after 1989, shaping the party system in these countries and the revival of civil society. His academic interests also include issues related to public relations and political marketing.

expandBeing mountains lover he tries to spend his free time hiking in the mountains throughout Europe, recently also in the company of his son Mikołaj.

I have a qualification and professional experience in teaching computer science and natural science at school, I was also among others a member of the e-magazine of the N television e-magazine and currently deal with native advertising. During my professional career I supported several innovative marketing projects. I am a type of a scientific and professional seeker who transforms vision into action.

I wonder how technologies will affect life in 20 years. Will we still learn or will we be able to get implants of knowledge? Will we talk face2face or communicate differently? I take into account all the possibilities, like Netflix “Black Mirror”.

expandHead of the Department of Coaching and Management, Graduate of Poznan University of Technology and Poznan University of Economics and Business. She also studied management and marketing at NHL Hogesschool in the Netherlands. In 2013, she defended her doctoral dissertation, written at the Department of Labor and Social Policy of the EU in Poznan, regarding the competences of managers and their impact on the economic results of IT companies. Since 2004, she has been an academic lecturer, conducting classes in Poland and abroad. Her research interests are focused on issues related to human resource management in enterprises and organization development. In her publications and the monograph published in 2015, she raises issues related to the competence and qualifications of employees, their development and the impact of the human factor on the results of enterprises. She also conducts research on effective talent management. She was a participant and co-organizer of many nationwide and international conferences.

expandSylwia Mikołajczak professional experience of sixteen years focuses on topics related to the functioning of cites, local and regional governments. Based on international experience, specific areas of interest and professional practice include spatial planning, urban management, local cooperation, strategic and economic development. For over twelve years she has been working with Dutch partners in projects in the field of integrated development and water management. She participates in the implementation of Dutch government programs and actively cooperates with The Embassy of The Kingdom of the Netherlands in Poland. Recently involved  in projects in Lithuania.

About me

expandThe dean’s representative for Game and Interactive Media Design at Collegium Da Vinci and lecturer at the Communication Design department at the School of Form in Poznań. Artistic director with many years of experience in the computer games industry in the United States. He worked, among others on the world’s hit games: Medal of Honor and Call of Duty. His experience and interests cover a wide range of game production, in particular: graphic art for games, organization of teamwork and production systems. He lectured and led the Game Art and Design department at the Art Institute in Los Angeles. His best students currently work in the most renowned computer game companies such as Bilzzard, Infinity Ward, Treyarch, Electronic Arts and CD Project Red.

I am curious

expandI am fascinated by human nature – everything that determines our ups and downs. This knowledge is also useful when designing games and UX, or player’s experience. My real passion is conceptual painting for games (concept art).
