At CDV, we support our students by offering financial assistance in the form of tuition discounts and scholarships. This helps supplement student budgets, allowing students to skillfully combine study with work and commitment to the university.

  • discount of 25% of the tuition fee applicable to the course which is the cheaper form of study during the whole period of simultaneous study at 2 courses.

Applicants (those with a current student status at another university) applying for higher than the first semester of studies.

Rector’s scholarship for the best students

Who can apply for a scholarship?

Students in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years of first-cycle studies, the 1st year of second-cycle studies (if they began their studies within a year of completing their first-cycle studies), and the 2nd year of second-cycle studies who have achieved:

  • distinguished academic results,
  • academic achievements,
  • artistic achievements,
  • sporting achievements in competitions at least at the national level

Students who, in the year of their Matura exam, received the title of:

  • winner of an international subject competition,
  • winner or finalist of a national subject competition, as referred to in the regulations on the education system,
  • medalist in the competition for the title of Polish Champion in sports, as referred to in the regulations on sports.

Who is not eligible for a scholarship?

Pursuant to the Act on Higher Education and Science, the Rector’s scholarship cannot be used by graduates of bachelor’s studies who are starting another bachelor’s studies, or by persons with a master’s degree who are pursuing another degree.

How to apply

Applications for the Rector’s scholarship should be submitted via the Virtual University, to which we will provide access 7 days before the beginning of the academic year.

Payment of scholarship

The scholarship is awarded for an academic year and paid in 9 installments.

Amount of scholarship

The scholarship amount depends on achievement.

For the 2024/2025 academic year, it ranged from 500 to 1000 PLN.

Scholarship of the Minister of Education and Science

Who can apply for a scholarship?

Students who have very good academic results or have outstanding scientific, artistic or sporting achievements (e.g. scientific publications, participation in research projects, co-authorship of an invention or utility model, participation in competitions and artistic projects, participation in individual or team competitions in which Polish sports associations are active) may apply for the Minister’s scholarship.

Who is not eligible for a scholarship?

Pursuant to the Act on Higher Education and Science, the Minister’s scholarship cannot be used by graduates of bachelor’s studies who are starting another bachelor’s studies, or by persons with a master’s degree who are pursuing another study programme.

Scholarship for people with disabilities

Who can apply for a scholarship?

Students with disabilities confirmed by a decision from a competent authority. If the decision expires within this timeframe, payments will be suspended until a new decision is submitted.

Who is not eligible for a scholarship?

Pursuant to the Law on Higher Education and Science, scholarships for people with disabilities are not available to bachelor’s degree graduates who are beginning another bachelor’s degree program, or to those with a master’s degree who are pursuing another degree program. If the disability arose during studies or after obtaining a professional degree, the student may receive a scholarship for people with disabilities for only one subsequent field of study, but for no longer than six years.

The scholarship is awarded for an academic year and paid in 9 installments.

Amount of scholarship

The amount of the scholarship is determined annually and depends on the grant awarded to our university for this purpose. The degree of disability does not affect the scholarship amount.

In the 2024/2025 academic year, the amount was PLN 650.

Social scholarship

Who can apply for a scholarship?

Students in a difficult financial situation, whose monthly net income per person in the family does not exceed PLN 1,294.40 (rate from 2024).

Who is not eligible for a scholarship?

Pursuant to the Act on Higher Education and Science, the Rector’s scholarship cannot be used by graduates of bachelor’s studies who are starting another bachelor’s studies, or by persons with a master’s degree who are pursuing another degree.

The scholarship is awarded for an academic year and paid in 9 installments.

Amount of scholarship

The scholarship amount depends on the student’s family income – the lower the income, the higher the scholarship amount. In particularly justified cases, students may receive an increased social scholarship.

For the 2024/2025 academic year, the amount was:

Social scholarship – PLN 1,200
Increased social scholarship – PLN 1,500

Financial assistance

Who can apply for assistance?

All students who find themselves in a temporary difficult financial situation. The application must be submitted within three months of the event that caused the deterioration of their financial situation.

Who is not entitled for assistance?

Pursuant to the Higher Education Act, bachelor’s degree graduates who are starting another bachelor’s degree program and master’s degree holders who are pursuing another degree program are not eligible for social scholarships and financial assistance.

Payment of assistance?

A student may receive the financial assistance twice per academic year.

Amount of assistance?

The financial assistance is granted in individual, particularly difficult life and financial situations, such as sudden illness or the death of a loved one. Each application is reviewed individually by a committee, and the amount of the benefit is determined individually, within the limits specified by law.
