Tensor
Tensor is a Collegium Da Vinci Club for students who want to actively explore the topics of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), while putting their knowledge into practice. We combine technology with empathy, innovation with responsibility—creating solutions that can truly change the world.
We are building a community of people who are curious about the future of technology and who want to know not only “how,” but above all “why.”
What we do
We focus on projects that combine AI and social action. We are interested in topics at the intersection of modern technology, psychology, medicine, and human-machine interaction design. In practice, this means:
- creating intelligent conversational systems (e.g., chatbots that support people with cognitive difficulties),
- designing immersive interfaces that support users in their daily activities,
- building and training machine learning models with an emphasis on ethics, transparency, and accessibility,
- exploring AI technologies in medicine, education, and the non-profit sector.
What actions are we taking?
- Research and development projects – from concept to prototype and user testing
- Practical workshops on AI/ML – introducing the world of Python, TensorFlow, NLP, and more
- Hackathons and technology competitions – developing the ability to work under time pressure
- Meetings with experts – we discuss the future of AI, technological ethics, and real-world applications
- Cooperation with other clubs and organizations – we seek interdisciplinary connections (UX, medicine, social design)
- Publications and presentations – we share the results of our work in the form of articles, lectures, and presentations
Who we are for
For students who:
- are interested in AI, ML, data, programming, or UX
- want to combine coding with real social impact
- think outside the box and want to collaborate in an interdisciplinary team
- are not afraid of challenges and enjoy solving complex problems
You don’t have to be an expert—all you need is a willingness to learn and a readiness to take action.
Why it’s worth it
- You learn by doing—building projects that make sense
- You gain technological and social experience at the same time
- You work in a team that thinks globally but acts locally
- You co-create the future – not only of technology, but also of human-AI relations
- You develop the skills of the future: technical, analytical, ethical, and teamwork
