He graduated from the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism at AMU. Specializations: political marketing and journalism. He is also a graduate of doctoral studies at the Faculty of Political Sciences at Adam Mickiewicz University. Author of a doctoral dissertation written under the supervision of prof. dr hab. Józef Orczyk, devoted to the problems of privatization in the Visegrad Group countries, with particular emphasis on the political and ideological aspects of this process.

Scientific interests are focused on the problems of systemic transformation in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe after 1989, shaping the party system in these countries and the revival of civil society. His academic interests also include issues related to public relations and political marketing.

Being mountains lover he tries to spend his free time hiking in the mountains throughout Europe, recently also in the company of his son Mikołaj.
