About me

A graduate of the University of Technology in the field of Computer Science. She defended her doctoral thesis with distinction in the field of computer science applied in agricultural sciences. For many years she worked in IT departments as a server or network administrator, implementor and trainer. She conducts didactics primarily in the field of operational systems and spatial information systems. Research interests concentrate on the use of information technology and popularization of knowledge and common sense. Author of several dozen scientific and popular science articles on the use of information technology, primarily in agricultural engineering, and co-author of the monograph on meat cattle breeding. Head of the national project on the use of aero laps in monitoring grassland, contractor in European projects concerning the development of the data exchange standard (agriXchange) and applications of Internet solutions of the Future (FIware technology) in the creation of smart applications for the agri-food sector. A member of the Polish Society of Spatial Information, the Polish Society of the Application of Information Technologies in Agriculture, Food and Forest Economy and the Polish Society of Agricultural Engineering. Marked by the President of the Republic of Poland with the Bronze Medal for Long-Term Service. Initiator and producer of various social actions. Co-founder and co-editor of the cultural magazine ŌKŌ.
