For 30 years, we have been teaching how to operate in a world that is constantly changing.
The world is changing faster than ever before. New technologies, global crises, social and economic changes make the future increasingly difficult to predict. That is why we need education that is not limited to imparting knowledge, but teaches flexibility, courage and readiness to act.
At Collegium Da Vinci, we have been supporting students and professionals for 30 years in developing the skills that allow them to find their way in the unknown. We teach them to think interdisciplinarily, work on projects and collaborate in diverse teams. Now, with a new visual and linguistic identity, we are communicating this even more clearly.
Our rebranding is not just a change in aesthetics, but a consequence of the path we are taking: education based on curiosity, practice and courage in designing the future.
The creative business sector – the space of the future
We want our students to be prepared to work where the future is born. And the future is largely shaped by the creative business sector – an area where technology, art and entrepreneurship meet. It is an industry that not only responds to change, but also drives it, setting the pace for economic and social development. This is where innovations are created that change the way we work, learn and spend our free time. From computer applications and games, through films and advertisements, to new technologies and innovative products – the creative business sector sets the directions that shape our everyday life and future.
For Collegium Da Vinci, this is a natural environment for activity, understood broadly and multidimensionally. It is not only graphic design, game design or film post-production. It also includes new media, marketing, programming, data science, management, HR, innovation in education and art therapy. This is where the professions of the future are created – interdisciplinary, requiring flexibility and a willingness to learn throughout life.
We see the future of our students and graduates in this sector. It is a space for people who want to influence the world around them through action, discover their own talents and create solutions that respond to real challenges. There is no single path in this sector – there are many paths that you can design yourself, and we give you the tools to do so consciously.
Our educational model: practice, interdisciplinarity, business
To find your place in the creative business sector, knowledge of one field is not enough. You need practical experience, an interdisciplinary approach and proximity to the market. This is what the educational model at Collegium Da Vinci is based on.
From the very beginning, we focus on practical experience – learning through projects, case studies and cooperation with market experts. Our staff are professionally active people who share real experience, not theory detached from life.
Interdisciplinarity is equally important to us. We combine business, creativity and technology, showing students that the boundaries between fields are becoming increasingly blurred. This approach provides a broader perspective and allows us to create solutions that respond to the complex challenges of the modern world.
Close contact with the market and business also remains important. We cooperate with companies, organisations and institutions, thanks to which students gain experience in project work already during their studies. It is learning that matters here and now – and prepares them for what is yet to come.
Our new visual identity is a natural extension of this model. Strong, expressive typography emphasises practicality and clarity. Dynamic graphic motifs reflect interdisciplinarity, flexibility and the combination of perspectives. And the colour scheme – with purple, orange and green in the leading roles – becomes a visual language of the values that have shaped CDV for years.
Colour identity – how we translate values into visual language
The new visual identity of Collegium Da Vinci is not just a change in aesthetics. It is a way of expressing our values. Each of the brand’s key colours reflects one of the attitudes that have been the foundation of CDV for years.
Purple is courage. It symbolises a readiness to take on new challenges, break patterns and seek one’s own path. It is a colour that reminds us that at CDV, courage is a shared attitude – it unites students, lecturers and the entire community in their way of thinking and acting.
Orange is creativity. It expresses creative energy, innovative thinking and openness to experimentation. It is a colour that reinforces our natural curiosity and need to create new solutions.
Green is cooperation and responsibility. It refers to relationships and teamwork, but also to a broader perspective – caring for others and the planet. It is a reminder that education at CDV is not only about individual development, but also about working together to design a better future.
Together, these colours create a visual language that is consistent with how we operate. Thanks to them, CDV’s values are not only written down in documents and strategies, but are visible in every element of communication – from the website, through publications, to the university space.
New identity – why do we need a change?
Did we really need a new identity?
No – if we think about identity for identity’s sake. A logo, colours or typography do not change who we are.
Yes – if we treat identity as a tool that allows us to better tell our story and where we are going.
The new look of the Collegium Da Vinci brand is not an aesthetic addition, but a consequence of the path we have been following for years. It is a visual and verbal language that allows us to more clearly show our values, energy and way of working.
Identification is therefore not a goal, but a means – a communication tool that makes what is most important at CDV more legible and consistent. Thanks to it, we can talk about who we are and how we design the future in a way that is even closer to the people who create and will create our community.
