Step-by-step admission process

  1. Create a personal account on the website rekrutacja.cdv.pl. Enter your contact details and select a study programme. Then fill in the application form. Your personal details must be the same as those in your international passport.

    To fill out the form, you will need: 

    • International passport 
    • High school certificate/ School leaving certificate (if you do not have a certificate yet, tick the box ‘I do not have a certificate yet’) 
    • Digital photo (photo requirements are the same as for IDs). This photo will be on your student ID.

    Attention! 

    All personal data must be carefully filled in from your international passport (this affects whether you will receive a visa). The remaining fields, such as your address and school name, must be filled in English. 

    After submitting the form, you will be asked to check your email and confirm your email address. If you do not see the email, check your spam folder.

  2. If you are under 18, download oświadczenie rodzica (the statement of a parent/legal guardian) from your account, print it, and sign it together with your parent/guardian. Then upload this document to your account and send the documents for verification. You will then be able to sign the documents online in a secure manner.

    After signing the agreement, you will receive it in pdf format at your email address.

    Instructions:

    1. Download and print the document from your personal account, section ‘Documents’: The statement of a parent/legal guardian consent form must be completed and signed by your parent
    2. Scan the document.
    3. The document must be attached in electronic form (as a scan) in your personal account in the appropriate field labelled ‘upload’.
    4. Sign the documents online:
      • ankieta osobowa (personal data questionnaire);
      • podanie do Rektora (application to the Rector);
      • ślubowanie (student oath);
      • umowa and regulamin (contract and payment terms);
    1. Send the documents for verification.

    Applicants residing outside Poland must, within 7 days:

    • scan and upload the signed documents to their personal account.

    • scan and upload the signed documents to their personal account.
      • bring the documents in person to the International Applicant Coordinator in office R.006 (on the first floor in the Rotunda, follow the sign for the Admissions Office) on weekdays from 9:00 to 15:00;
      • or send them by post to: Collegium Da Vinci, 10 Kutrzeby Street, 61-719 Poznań, office R.006 (Admissions Office).

    If you are already 18 years old, after completing all the details, you will be able to sign the documents online in a secure manner. After signing the agreement, you will receive it in pdf format at your email address.

  3. Until 28 April, the registration fee is PLN 0. To take advantage of this special offer, you need to apply and upload all the required documents to your personal account by 28 April.

    After 28 April, you can pay the registration fee in your personal account using the PayU service.

  4. To study at Collegium Da Vinci, you must confirm your English language proficiency at a level not lower than B2. Even if you have not yet received your certificate, you can start the admission process today. Let the coordinator know when you plan to submit one of the documents.

    You can confirm your language proficiency by presenting one of the internationally recognized certificates. Check the detailed list here.

    If you don’t have a document confirming your English proficiency, you may take LanguageCert International B2 (Communicator) exam.

    Collegium Da Vinci is an Approved LanguageCert Registration Center which means you can benefit from a discount available anywhere in the world.

    You can submit e.g. LanguageCert International B2 (Communicator) exam (4 skills obligatory: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking).

    1. Go to this website: https://www.languagecert.org.
    2. Select Written and Spoken (4-skills exam).
    3. Click “Book”.
    4. Enter code 50096D (for candidates outside Poland) or 00D54D (for candidates outside Poland) in the Promo Code box (bottom of the site) and click Apply.
    5. Choose exam date and time and complete registration.
  5. Even if you have not yet received your certificate, you can create your personal application account today and begin the admission process.  

    1. If you already have a certificate and are residing in Poland, you must submit the originals within 7 days after signing the agreement.
      • Documents should be submitted in person to the International Applicant Coordinator at the Admissions Office on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or sent by post to the following address:Collegium Da Vinci, 10 Kutrzeby Street, 61-719 Poznań, office R.006 (Admissions Office). Please also let us know by email at admissions@cdv.pl on which day you will be bringing the documents.
    1. If you already have a certificate and are outside Poland, you must upload the scans of it within 7 days after signing the agreement.
    2. If you are receiving your certificate this year, start the admission process without the certificate. After receiving the certificate, read point 1 or 2.  

    Steps for successful verification of your high school certificate 

    Legalization of your high school certificate

    Who should complete this process? Applicants who completed secondary/high school outside Poland.

    Legalization options:

    1. Apostille. If your country is a signatory to the Hague Convention, you must obtain an apostille stamp on your certificate.  
    2. Full legalization. If your country is not a signatory to the Hague Convention, the certificate must be fully legalised: by the Ministry of Education/Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and later by the relevant Consulate of Poland.

    Translation process 

    Who should complete this process?  If your certificate was issued in a language other than Polish, English or Ukrainian, it must be translated (choose a preferable option for you):

    1. Sworn translation (register of sworn translators: link).  
    2. Translation performed by a diplomatic or consular office of the state in whose territory or education system the certificate was issued, accredited in the Republic of Poland. 

    Certificate recognition process 

    The certificate recognition process does not apply to applicants who hold one of the following certificates:

    • Polish high/ secondary school certificate (Świadectwo maturalne)
    • Certificate issued by a country with which an international agreement on mutual recognition of educational documents has been signed and is currently in force (e.g. Ukraine).
    • International Baccalaureate and European Baccalaureate.
    • Certificate issued by a school or educational institution recognized by the state and operating in the territory or education system of a member state of the European Union, a member state of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) – European Economic Area, a member state of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

    If your certificate is not listed above, you must complete the certificate recognition process. Please note that you can begin the admission process before receiving your certificate. 

    From the 1st July 2025, the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) is responsible for recognizing foreign certificates. The entire process will take place online. Applications are to be submitted through the SYRENA system (available in Polish and English)

    Required documents:

    • Certificate entitling you to be admitted to the university
    • Document confirming your previous level of education (upon request)    
    • Translation of the above documents (not required for documents in Ukrainian, Russian and Belarusian)
    • Passport
    • Document confirming a change of surname 
    • Statement from parents/guardians (in the case of a minor applicant) – a sample statement is available on the NAWA website.

    The document confirming the recognition of the high school certificate must be submitted before being admitted to the university. Important information: Before submitting your application for recognition, please read the instructions – they are available in Polish and English in the ‘Uznawalność’ section. Link to the website (click). An incomplete set of documents may delay the process of obtaining a decision from NAWA. The review may take up to 60 days.

  6. Once you have fulfilled all of the above conditions, your applicant status will change to ‘accepted’.

    The academic year begins on 1 October, which means that you will officially become a student at Collegium Da Vinci. All information regarding the class schedule will be available on the Wirtualna Uczelnia (Virtual University) student portal, which you will have access to in the middle of September.

    Please note that in order to obtain the full set of documents required for a visa, in accordance with the requirements of the visa centres, you must pay the tuition fees.

    Upon arrival in Poland, you must bring the original documents to the Admissions Office (R.006):

    • If the application documents were signed online, you must provide a hard copy of your secondary school / high school leaving certificate, as well as the hard copies of other documents that you uploaded to your personal account.

To be admitted to Collegium Da Vinci, applicants from abroad must submit the following documents:

  • international passport
  • high school certificate/diploma recognized in accordance with Polish regulations on the acceptance of foreign educational documents.
  • legalization of education documents – documents must be legalized with Apostille stamp (for countries that are parties to the Hague Convention) or full legalization done by the Polish Embassy (for other countries).
  • translation of documents – if the certificate/diploma and other documents are not issued in Polish, English or Ukrainian, they must be translated into Polish by a sworn translator.
  • English language certificate – required if the language of instruction at the chosen faculty is not the candidate’s native language.
  • digital photograph – meeting the requirements for photographs for documents, it will be used on the student ID card. 
  • application form – a document generated in the applicant’s personal account, which must be submitted to the Admissions Office together with the original certificate or diploma.
Documents to be submitted upon arrival:
  • a document confirming the right to stay in Poland – for example, a student visa, residence card or other document confirming the legality of stay in Poland.
  • medical insurance – required to access medical care in Poland; students can purchase insurance from the NFZ or have private medical insurance.

How to submit documents  

Online:

  • Most documents must be uploaded to your personal application account. Remember that your high school certificate /diploma should be first scanned and uploaded to the personal account, and later submitted in hard copies.

In person or by post: 

  • The hard copies of high school certificate /diploma, application form, translations and legalized documents must be brought to the Admissions Office or sent by post.
  • Applicants residing in Poland must do so within 7 days after signing the agreement. 
  • Applicants residing outside Poland must provide a scan of their high school certificate/diploma as soon as possible after receiving it, and the hard copy upon arrival in Poland.

How much do studies cost?

Fees

  • Registration fee

    A one-time fee that must be paid at the admission stage.

    During certain periods, there is a promotional offer: registration fee – PLN 0. 

    The cost outside the promotional period is PLN 85.

  • Tuition fees

    Tuition fees that can be paid in a way that is convenient for you. In the case of a Bachelor’s programme, tuition fees can be paid in instalment:

    • in 12 monthly instalments,
    • in 2 semester instalments,
    • in 1 instalment for the entire academic year.

    The amount of tuition fees depends on the faculty you choose – full information is available on the relevant faculty page.

  • To be admitted to Collegium Da Vinci, you must confirm your English language proficiency level (Upper- Intermediate: B2 or higher).

FAQ

Recruitment and admission:

  • Admission for the new 2026/2027 academic year starts in January and will officially continue until the end of September. It is possible to start application process without your legalized high school certificate.

  • At Collegium Da Vinci, one of the mandatory conditions for admission is confirmation of your English language proficiency. The minimum language proficiency level required for admission is B2. Language proficiency can be confirmed by a certificate included in the official list — link to the list.

    If you are awaiting your certificate, please inform the Admissions Office.

  • You can find information about possible accommodation options above.

  • For admission to our university, the average score of the certificate is not taken into account. You only have to be eligible for admission process in the country of your certificate origin. Please be aware that the GPA results may be required for recognition of your high school certificate.

  • Collegium Da Vinci is a private university, so there is no possibility to study for free. But at the end of the 1st year, each student can apply for a Rector’s scholarship for high achievements in studies, active student position or sports activities. Additional information about scholarships can be found under the link.

  • Students who hold a Polish Card/UKR status may apply for a social scholarship on the same terms as Polish citizens.

  • Yes, you can. But documented parental/guardian consent will be required. The Coordinator will provide the details. Please be aware that student who are under 18 are highly recommended to have a legal guardian. It is important for hospital visits, bank representation etc. Although it is not required for admissions process, we kindly suggest you to take case of this issue before your arrival to Poland.

  • The academic year in Poland starts on 1 October.

  • Yes, we organize Open Days all year round. Please contact your International Student Coordinator admissions@cdv.pl to arrange a personal tour.

  • You must buy an insurance policy from the National Health Fund; the insurance fee is approximately PLN 60 per month. You can also sign a contract with any private insurance company. Regarding the temporary residence card, all the necessary steps are described in English on the official website of the Wielkopolska Department for Foreigners.

    Remember that at Collegium Da Vinci, you can arrange an individual meeting with the Welcome Point Coordinator, who will be happy to help you and answer your questions.

  • Of course. First of all, you must have completed the current semester/year of study. Then, you need to create an application at rekrutacja.cdv.pl and select a study programme in the programme differences mode. Remember to choose a study programme at CDV that is as similar as possible to the one you are currently studying. In the next step, you should submit an application to the Dean and attach documents from your previous university with a list of grades and ECTS points, as well as a detailed description of the subjects you have completed (syllabuses). The Dean will analyse your application and your previous study programme in detail, and will probably indicate the programme differences that need to be completed after your application to study at CDV has been approved. Detailed requirements can be found in the Regulations, paragraph 12. (link to special offer – where it says ‘change your university to an interesting one’).

  • Collegium Da Vinci is a private university listed in the Polish Register of Higher Education Institutions under number 90. All our programmes are accredited by the State Accreditation Commission and the Ministry of Education. In 2022, 2023 and 2024 CDV is listed by the Ministry of Education as one of the most frequently selected private universities in Poland.

  • Discounts on public transport, including intercity and international transport, discounts on health insurance, cinemas, theatres, cafés and restaurants, water parks, swimming pools, gyms and much more. Yes, you will be able to apply for an ISIC card.

  • According to the agreement on the terms of payment for studies, payment must be made by 5 October. Please note that when applying for a student visa, Visa Centres require confirmation of payment for studies at the time of application.

  • The login and password required to log into the WU (Virtual University) system can be found on the registration form, two weeks prior to the start of classes.

  • If you want to change the form of payment (annual, semester, monthly), this can be done before you start your studies. In order to change the form of payment, an official application in the admission account must be submitted (select the Applications section and choose Application for a change in the number of instalments).

  • If you submit your resignation from studies in writing by 5 October, there will be no financial obligations. You should submit your request to terminate the agreement as soon as possible. The withdrawal form is included in the admission documents. You can submit your application for withdrawal from your studies via the applicant accout, after gaining access to the Virtual University, via this portal.

  • While maintaining the highest standards of education we make sure that our students work on modern computers, innovative software. In today’s dynamically developing world, regular updating of material and technical base is required.
