About Me

If this were a video game, I’d be easy mode. I’m all about a good vibe, equality, and clear communication—more into discussion, feedback, and a partner-style exchange of ideas than the classic “teacher knows best” model of education. I don’t have any superpowers or extraordinary talents, but I’ve done a lot of things in life connected to film, games, and marketing.

I’m a graduate of the Lubusz School of Television and Film (screenwriting and directing), the Kraków Film School (film directing), WSNHiD (BA in Cultural Studies), Adam Mickiewicz University (MA in Film Studies), and Collegium Da Vinci (postgraduate studies in film production), as well as many other trainings, courses, competitions, and initiatives related to cinema, theatre, video games, marketing, philosophy, psychology, and culture.

Professionally, I’ve been a grocery store manager, a cook, a hotel manager, a call center employee, and even a club bouncer. I also worked as a cameraman and reporter with several regional TV stations. Over the last decade, though, I’ve mostly been organizing courses, editing video and audio, working as a tech consultant, and doing videography.

I’ve contributed to TV and online commercials and to social and regional projects. I’ve taken part in producing narrative films, music videos, and documentary reports—though I’ve also done my share of fairground coverage and weddings. I consider it all simply fun and formative.

I’ve also edited and prepared for sale hundreds of hours of courses and podcasts for external marketing and training agencies. I don’t even know when it all piled up—though I do know what to add and how to make it better. That kind of thing.

I guess you could say I’m an enthusiast, and my goal is to “sell” that enthusiasm to anyone who might be interested. That’s why I started teaching at CDV—just like that.

What Interests Me

Always: culture, other people, and stories. I believe everything is contained in those three elements. The format doesn’t matter—what matters is the story and the context.

I’m a film buff, an avid gamer, and a fan of new media. I love YouTube, TikTok, and all animals. Exhibitions, concerts, festivals, and culinary events are the places you’ll find me just chilling and having a great time. I used to be a cook, and I still love kitchen adventures—especially with a podcast on, or an episode of a series/anime playing in the background.

I’m also into poetry slams, fashion, and a ton of music—from Polish rap (“Żywy Trzmiel, take me away on the insect wings of your flow”) to heavy metal bands whose names I can’t read because they use that impossible font. For over 10 years, I’ve been collecting physical copies of films and games. Honestly, one day I might die buried under discs. It’s a real risk.

I love weirdness in the broadest sense, pushing boundaries, Cronenberg, Scooby-Doo, Spider-Man, found footage, wuxia, horror, soulslikes, Godzilla, Devil May Cry, Supernatural, all animation, walking simulators, glitch aesthetics, inclusivity, breaking down distance between people, and pasta in every form. And singing like nobody’s listening. If someone is listening… well, then I don’t know. Something terrible.
