Re:Akcje is a regular meeting with a CDV staff member. It is intended to introduce interesting people – lecturers at our university. We meet them in the classroom, in the corridor, in the office, but we often don’t know much about them, and each person has an interesting story, passion, and action.
We invite CDV employees, lecturers, administration employees, students, guests from outside the university.
Dessert wines and decision making
I will never forget the late Autumn harvests at my grandparents’ vineyard – I was fascinated by the process and enjoyed sipping the (in hindsight, somewhat mediocre) wine. In Hungary, there is a particularly interesting dessert (sweet) wine called aszu wine (from the area called Tokaj). This wine requires special conditions and considerations from the winemakers. On a tangential note, I have always enjoyed discussing human decision making – be it a corporate issue, or a straightforward personal decision of buying a car. Combining the two items above allows me to invite you for a discussion on rational decision making and provide a taste of the Hungarian aszu wine. The language of the presentation is English, and we will discuss some interesting approaches to rational decision making while sipping dessert wine.
